V.P. & R.P.T.P. Science College has had a glorious past and a rich history of imparting science education of a high standard.

After taking over the mantle of Principalship, I take pride in the fact that this institution was shaped by the toil and sweat of towering personalities like Pujya Shri Bhaikaka, Shri Bhikhakaka, Shri H M Patel, and Dr C L Patel. So it is indeed a challenge to maintain this great legacy.

In 2013, we applied for NAAC re-accreditation and got "A" grade with a CGPA of 3.12 on a four-point scale. In 2014, the KCG, Gandhinagar, also awarded "A" grade with a CGPA of 3.14. I am confident that we will improve our standing in the coming years. In 2019, the college was also awarded A Grade by NAAC.

We have added responsibilities now because UGC and the Gujarat Govt. have awarded the status of an Autonomous College, but affiliated to Sardar Patel University. It gives us greater freedom to modify the syllabus as per the changing times.

The college will have to apply for NAAC Re-Accreditation, Fourth Cycle in 2025. The challenges are many, but we are confident of putting on a good show due to the encouragement, support, and trust of the management in our abilities.

We are on track to achieve a higher grade because our preparations are already underway and with the support, cooperation, and encouragement from all the stakeholders, viz. the management, the faculty, the students, and others, we will achieve greater heights.
