Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics was established in 1947. At present there are 6 faculty members in the department.

The department started manual as well as software-based Mathematics practicals for the first time in Gujarat.

The Department is keen on identifying current trends in Mathematics education and organizes workshops for the mathematics community at regular intervals. All faculty members have either completed a Ph.D. or qualified for the NET examination and are pursuing a Ph.D.

The department also provides an opportunity for all college students to learn LaTeX, a computer language for mathematical and technical typesetting, through an Add-On course.
