Department of Zoology

The Department of Zoology was established in the year 1947 and is the only undergraduate department of Sardar Patel University offering undergraduate degree courses in Botany and Zoology.

Apart from undergraduate programs, the department also enrolls students in the Ph.D. program in Botany, Zoology, and Environmental Science.

There are three faculty members, out of which two are Ph.D. holders and one holds an M.Phil.

In addition to regular classes, the department offers add-on courses in Floriculture and Wildlife Study, as well as a Value Added Course in Science and Spirituality.
