   The Mathematics Department at V.P. & R.P.T.P. Science College offers degree programmes (B.Sc.) in Mathematics.

   VPM is the first college in Gujarat to introduce mathematics practicals on computers to enhance visualization of abstract concepts and models. The Department is equipped with 18 computers (all LAN connected) with printing facility. The laboratory is mainly used for practical covered at Second and Third Year levels.

   The other Laboratory is equipped with Mathematics models likes Tower of Hanoi, Tower of Brahma, Regular Polyhedral, Celestial Sphere, Topological Models, and four coloured cubes etc.
