   The English Department at V.P. & R.P.T.P. Science College offers a compulsory English Course at the First Year.

   The Department also offers English Practicals as one of the courses to First Year students to improve their communication skills. No other University offers such English Practicals. The Department is equipped with Tape Recorders, OHP's and various English Language Courses.

   The Department has also trained the office staff in communication skills and also runs a short term Communication Skills course for Students of the college.

   Various faculty members are also invited by other institutions as Guest Faculty and as resource persons for giving training to higher secondary teachers.
